Volkswagen Gets New US Chief

Jonathan Browning, a former higher-up at General Motors and Ford, was named chief at the Volkswagen Group of America on Monday. Browning hopes to lead the company as it moves to improve US sales.
Browning, who handles the Volkswagen Group's national sales companies, will become president and chief executive effective Oct. 1 2010.
