I cycled in and arrived first at the wrong entrance to McCormick Place. "Am I at the right place for the auto show?" I asked a security guard. He looked me over an asked "do you have a delivery" as he scanned my bike helmet and messenger bag. Faster than Ever: New Volkswagon Golf to Debut in the U.S. Next Year

The Volkswagon Golf (with the Rabbit nameplate in the U.S. before 1985 and between 2007 and 2009) is a well-known compact hatchback. In 2012, Volkswagon will release its most powerful Golf yet: the Golf R - in limited numbers, for a limited time.

Volkswagen Golf R Coming To US

Volkswagen has confirmed the supercharged Golf R will come to North America in 2012. "The European Golf R is simply the most powerful Volkswagen sports performance vehicle ever built," according to a statement from VW.

The German automaker plans to sell the Golf R worldwide, along with another hefty goal of becoming the world's largest car producer. VW has a plan to expand its sales worldwide.
