We're starting to feel a bit like a broken record here. Because, yes, the 2012 Volkswagen Passat has won yet another award. Not that we're surprised - we love the all-new Passat. And as it turns out, so does everybody else.

It's earned a Five-Star Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, it's an IIHS Top Safety Pick, it topped Cars.com's "Best of 2012" list, and as if that wasn't enough, Motor Trend gave it their coveted 2012 Car of the Year award. Oh, but wait, there's more where that came from. Most recently, Kelley Blue Book gave it the number one spot on their list of "10 Best Sedans Under $25,000."

So, what can we conclude about the Volkswagen Passat? Well, it's safe, it's fun to drive, it's packed with features, it's well-designed, and it's economical, to boot.

This most recent award from Kelley Blue Book really drives the point home for us. Editors say of the sedan, "Finally roomy and affordable enough to compete side-by-side with midsize sedan stalwarts like Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, the all-new Volkswagen Passat is our 2012 pick as the best sedan under $25,000 in large part because it still drives like a smaller, pricier car."¹

While there's an awful lot that could be said about what makes the Passat so fantastic, we think that sums it up quite nicely.
