If you've ever had a boss from H-E-Double Hockey Sticks-L, you've likely
watched the recently-released comedy, Horrible Bosses. Depending on
exactly just how bad you had it, you might have even found the movie
slightly cathartic...If nothing else it was good for a couple of good
laughs, right? That and one other thing, namely the new Volkswagen
Jetta.
Like most movies today, Horrible Bosses plays another
purpose, besides entertaining us. Think about it. In addition to Jason
Batemen, Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell, and many other familiar faces,
what had a cameo role in the film? The Jetta.
Cleverly placed
throughout the entire film, the Volkswagen Jetta, is shown to be fun,
hearty, practical, playful, capable of pulling some tricky driving
stints and stylish. All things considered, we have to admit it was done
with enough sophistication that we didn't really mind. Or, maybe we
just like seeing the Jetta on the screen so much that it didn't stick
out as being overkill.
What do you think of Horrible Bosses? Did
you notice that the Jetta made the cut? Did you think the movie came off
too much as an advertisement for zippy German car? Or did you think
everything was well done? Fletcher Jones Volkswagen is curious to know
and invites you to leave us a comment, telling us what you think.
